ATLANTIC Hotel SAIL City was designed by an architects' office in Bremen, Klumpp  Architekten und Stadtplaner, and resembles a sail full of wind pointing to the sea. The dynamic shape of the building is underscored by a metal construction running up to the top. A visitors' platform way up high highlights the maritime significance of Bremerhaven as the gate to overseas.
